Heath’s twist on the classic Santa Maria Rub.

This is the last rub you will ever need thus adding a steak sauce would be criminal!

This classic Seasoning was made famous in Santa Maria, California.

Where Steaks and Tri-Tips were traditionally seasoned and slow cooked over Red Oak open fires.

This style originated when cowboys would gather under towering oaks for barbeques after a hard day’s work, branding their calves and steers.

Apply Smokin’ Maria generously, rubbing into meat, (approx.1-2 tbsp per lb of meat) then gently rub on VERY light coating of oil (pref olive oil, however any fresh oil will work), covering the blend. Allow to sit 1 to 2 hours before cooking meat. The oil locks in both the flavors and juices as it cooks, creating a tender and juicy portion with amazing taste!

Also apply this to any dish for added depth and flavor.
